ChatGPT pretty much tells you what you want to hear — I’ve realised if I want to get any value out of it I need to be asking emotionally uncharged and completely unbiased questions, making sure I don’t inject any of my personal preferences anywhere. That’s easy at first, but becomes hard when you’ve gotta follow up with questions when it doesn’t hit the mark. The more I use AI tools the more I realise how underwhelming they truly are.
Exactly! It's not always feasible to craft the perfect prompt for every "quick question" you want an answer to. Occasionally the follow-up threads can yield useful info, but as you say they have been rather underwhelming for the most part.
I’d laugh at the title if it weren’t so darn true… and scary!!
